are you doing anything exciting this summer?

hmn... i'm at ucsb right now taking college classes. i'm really pissed though, since i decided to go to ucsb so i could take a class in photography and one in philosophy, to try both. but i only found out after i signed up that they weren't offering photo this year, and all the art classes they have a introduction to art classes, so i am stuck taking formal logic and intro to poli sci classes. they're interesting and all, but it's not what i wanted to be doing with my summer, you know? i really wish i was at idyllwild... i miss that place so bad.

but ther is one thing exciting i'm doing this summer! i'm going sailing in belize for two weeks, leaving the day after i get back from ucsb (next saturday). i'm very excited!!! i just need to write one more stupid paper... asdlkmasl;kmcd


this is killing me. i want to be painting outside, drawing models, whatever, you know? i don't like reading plato for hours. >

course i am, well was..it went by way too quick thought, which is hard to believe cause its twice the length of idyllwild ya know? but i feel i've taken alot from the program and have hopefully grown as an artist

hows your art comin along?

my art is not so good. i've been doing a lot of other stuff this summer so i've only done... two or three drawings this summer and i just painted something today. it's got potential but it's rather experimental, so things still need to be refined. i'll post it soon.

i sorta feel like i've had art block this whole summer, which is stinky because summer's when i have the most time to do art... but i'm gonna be doing ap studio art this year, so i'll get lots done then! there'll be lots of posting.
